These tools let you format and manipulate output, for example, by changing text case, formatting dates and times, truncating strings, or rendering Markdown. Filters use the `|` syntax (e.g. `{{ value|capitalize }}`), and some object methods are also accessible this way. **NOTE:** Twig runs in Sandbox mode, so only a limited set of filters is allowed. ### Filters These filters can be applied using the `|` syntax.
